Who Qualifies

• You were detained at Brooklyn Central Booking at any point between April 8, 2017, and December 27, 2019

What You May Receive

Eligible class members may receive up to $475 per visit to a covered New York City Central Booking facility during the applicable class period. If you were detained multiple times during the class period, you may be eligible to receive up to $475 for each qualifying visit. Final payout amounts are estimated and may vary depending on the total number of valid claims submitted. There is no guarantee of a specific payment amount.

2. Confirm your visit history (if needed) by contacting the settlement administrator through the website to verify the number of times you were held at a covered Central Booking facility during the class period.
3. Complete the claim form accurately and truthfully. Note that claims are submitted under penalty of perjury — only file if you believe you are eligible.
4. Submit your completed claim form by the claim deadline of October 19, 2026. Late submissions may not be accepted.

5. Note: The deadline to request exclusion from or object to the settlement is October 5, 2026. A final approval hearing is scheduled for October 22, 2026.
